A couple of weeks ago, I had one of those moments at my pop-up store. A young woman walked up and said, “I bought one of your candles recently.”
I held my breath. Because you never really know what’s coming next.
Then she said, “I love your candles so much. I’ve told all my friends. They’re obsessed too.”
Honestly, that little moment made my week. I’m still smiling.
One of the best things about running a pop-up is getting to meet people in real life. It’s such a great way to hear what you’re loving, what you’re hoping for next, and just have a proper chat.
Local shopping centres are a goldmine for casual anthropology. Mums and bubs, proud grandparents with their grandkids, teens cruising, young adults hunting for the perfect gift, and small business owners chasing their own dreams. It’s a total mash-up of people, and I love soaking it all in.
You can find us at Lollipop Collective (opposite Mecca) at Northland Shopping Centre.
If you’ve ever stopped by or wandered past with a smile, your support makes a huge difference—thank you.
And to the lovely customer Sara who came back and shared the love? You lit me up more than you know.
