Some trips stay with you long after you’re home. Driving South Australia’s Lime Coast was one of them—with luminescent blue at every turn, I wondered, could the Amalfi Coast be this blue? I'd just found the perfect location for the next season of White Lotus!
About eight from Melbourne, we stopped in postcard-perfect towns for lamingtons and pies, before making our way to Robe via an overnight in Adelaide (for Drum & Bass on a bike, another story for another time).
Robe was dreamy. We stayed on the main street, perfect for sea-side wandering. Samosas and wine in the sunshine, coastal walks along crumbling cliffs dotted with purple foliage and wildflowers and when we weren’t doing that, I checked out every single homewares shop.
In Hahndorf, I discovered the most adorable candle with curly locks! Found in a Florist, straight out of a movie/fairy tale, whitewashed studio, timber beams and blooms. Utterly nostalgic.
So when I got home, I set to work on my take.
Stone & Stem is a homage to Hahndorf, the Limestone Coast, the beautiful land we inhabit and unexpected moments that bring joy.
No two are the same. Each candle is a unique keepsake. Dotted with delicate crystals and botanicals. Poured in a white tin, providing a moment of calm, wherever you are. Beautiful. Grounding.
Meet the collection:
Carnelian & Hydrangea with notes of Brown Sugar and Vanilla, our Cookie fragrance (Sweet as pie)
Citrine & Jasmine with notes of Persian Lime and Lemongrass, our Summer fragrance (Pure sunshine)
Rose Quartz, Rose & Jasmine, with bright floral notes, our Flowers fragrance (Romantic and feminine)
Amethyst, Rose Quartz & Lavender with notes of Lavender and Thyme - our new fragrance (Made for unwinding)
Like all our candles, they are made with pure coco-soy wax and locally sourced ingredients. Small-batch, intentional, and just at home on your bedside table as they are packed in your weekend bag.
That’s the story of Stone & Stem. A little road trip inspo in a tin. Celebrating adventure and calm, wherever you go.
